Grain store season notes

Most Hampshire combinable-crop stores need a thorough clean and inspection window between outgoing and incoming grain. Country Cures typically schedules wet or dry building cleaning from late July through September, followed by fumigation where stored-product pests were present last season.

Before we arrive - empty the store completely, isolate electricity if roof jets will be used, and flag any cracked cladding or roof sheets so our wet system can be positioned safely. If you are altering ducting or floor channels, ask about our grain-store design consultancy while trades are on site.

After cleaning - we can advise on bait stations and rabbit fencing before the first loads arrive, and coordinate with your pest control contract if wasps or rodents have already moved into adjoining barns.
